We at the Greenville-Pitt County Convention and Visitors Bureau make meeting planning execution and assistance our top priority. Funded by the local hotel/motel tax, our bureau is able to offer a variety of complimentary services, designed to make your job a little easier. We invite you to hold your next meeting, reunion or event with us and take advantage of all we have to offer.

Accommodations - As a representative for all the hotels, the Bureau staff can serve as a non-biased source for accommodation information. After determining your meeting needs, the Bureau can canvass area hotels and solicit availability, rates, menus, audio visual equipment, and other function information for your group.

Attendance Promotion - The Bureau staff can assist with the layout and design of a promotional package that will help maximize attendance at your next meeting, event, or reunion. The staff can prepare and distribute specific information on Greenville-Pitt County that will be helpful to your attendees and draw their interest in coming to Greenville. There is no charge for this service but the Bureau does request reimbursement for postage.

Brochures - The Bureau maintains an extensive collection of brochures on Greenville-Pitt County, Eastern North Carolina and the state. Available brochures include specific information on lodging, dining, visitor activities and meeting facilities.

Invitation - The Bureau can assemble an invitation package specialized for your group, including an official letter of invitation from local dignitaries, promotional materials, a promotional video, and a summary of how Greenville and Pitt County can meet your organization's unique needs.

Name Badges - The Bureau staff can provide complimentary printed name badges. A complete list of names should be submitted two weeks prior to the event.

Publicity - The Bureau maintains a media list covering the state of North Carolina. The staff will prepare and distribute news releases and public service announcements to the appropriate media sources to help promote attendance and awareness of your event. The Bureau will also assist with the generation of media coverage.

Registration - The Bureau staff can provide on-site assistance during your busiest time of registration. Complimentary cash boxes and information on Greenville-Pitt County are furnished for your group.

Services Liaison - The Bureau can serve as a central contact for information on transportation, printing, floral, audio as well as other services and rentals.

Tour and Event Coordination - Specialized tours and events can be arranged for you delegates and accompanying persons as a part of the convention schedule. The Bureau staff can solicit bids from local bus companies, secure group rates and reservations from visitor attractions, and make arrangements for programs, receptions, and activities.
