Students will learn a variety of skills to build confidence in sewing projects on their own. Students must have a machine they can bring to class. Topics covered include machine basics, fabric and stitch basics, alterations and/or following a commercial pattern, but are based on the interest of current students. Students will be encouraged to bring in alterations they have and/or purchase a commercial sewing pattern they are interested in creating. They will also need to bring specific fabric and/or materials needed for their project.
