Art of Quilting 6-Week Course

Join the Greenville Museum of Art and instructor Marie Hamra for a course dedicated to Hand Sewing and Art Quilting. In this course, Hamra will cover types of materials, basic sewing stitches, embroidery with embellishments, and the basics of hand quilting. Participants will begin their creative journey by making their own 14 in. x 14 in. art quilts within this session.This course is open to all skill levels and previous class attendees.Dates: May 1 - June 5, 2025Time: Thursdays, 10:00am to 12:00 pmPrice* (6 Classes Total): $100 for GMoA Members, $130 for Non-Members*Price includes front materials, batting, sewing needles, tan cotton thread, and sample patterns. Students are welcome to bring their own materials.Large pieces of backing will be sold by the yard to finish quilts
