DownEast National Juried Indoor Sculpture Call for Entry

What is DownEast?The DownEast National Juried Sculpture Exhibition is located in Pitt County, North Carolina. The exhibition has two components: a month-long indoor exhibition and a year-long outdoor exhibition. The DownEast outdoor sculpture exhibition is a joint exhibition among Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, ECU Student Activities Board, City of Greenville, Town of Winterville, Town of Farmville, and the Greenville Museum of Art. This call for entry is specific to the month long INDOOR sculpture exhibit. For more info: & FEESEach artist may submit up to 3 entries for the total of $20. Additional entries cost $5 per entry with a limit of 6 total. All entries must be submitted digitally and received by Saturday, January 23, 2021. Images of work must be submitted as jpgs. Emerge Gallery will retain a 40% commission (30% for East Carolina University students). If work is not for sale, an insurance value must be given and NFS stated or work will not be insured.INDOOR EXHIBITIONEligibilityThis exhibition is open to all artists ages 18 and up. Any three-dimensional media is eligible. Indoor submissions must fit through a standard sized door. Work must be ready for display. All entries must be submitted digitally. All work must be able to be exhibited for the length of the exhibition, March 5-25, 2021.
