Falkland Paddle

Join Knee Deep Adventures for an 11-mile paddle from Falkland to Town Common! This is an intermediate-level paddle, so we don't recommend this trip for someone who has never been paddling before. That said, we will be paddling down stream the whole way, and the length of the trip will depend on the skill of the group and the height/flow of the river. We estimate the trip will take ~5 hours.We will meet at Town Common at 7:30am and shuttle together over to Falkland to launch. Once we arrive at Falkland, we will launch as a group and paddle to Town Common, stopping at least once or twice along the way at a sandbar for a quick break.Rental options will be limited to single and tandem kayaks, and registration will be limited to 8 boats.What to bring: snacks, water/gatorade, hat/sunglasses, sunscreen, clothes and shoes that can get wet. We recommend bringing multiple water bottles on this trip, since it is a longer trip, and we will ensure we have extras just in case anyone needs them.If we have to cancel for weather or unsafe river conditions, the makeup date will be Saturday, May 24th at 7:30am.
