Saturday, August 22, 7pm & Sunday, August 23, 3pm – Music House String Quartet with Caroline Shaw, viola You have two chances to hear this extraordinary program: Saturday, August 22 (7pm) and Sunday, August 23 (3pm). The highlight is Dvo?ák's "American" String Quintet, performed with special guest Caroline Shaw, a Pulitzer Prize- and Grammy Award-winning composer (and Greenville native!). She will be joining us as a violist, alongside Kirsten Swanson (violin), Meredith Harris (viola), Christopher Nunnally (cello), and myself (violin). In addition, we’ll enjoy two favorite string quartets: Beethoven’s No. 11 in F minor, Op. 95, and Barber’s B minor, Op. 11. Both concerts also include refreshments, wine tasting, and time to socialize with the artists and each other.
