The following events are open to the public but provide our members an opportunity to get together and to interact with members of the community that may not be a member of our guild. These events are not guild sponsored.•A Quilting Bee meets weekly at the Pitt County Council of Aging (Senior Center) Building, off County Home Road •Meetings are from 12:30 to about 5:00 p.m.•Wednesday afternoon is another casual quilter’s gathering for those who enjoy spending time with friends and working on projects. There is not a scheduled program for this gathering and everyone is encouraged to bring whatever they would like to work on. It is an opportunity to socialize and if needed, receive assistance or advice with a project. All quilters of any level are welcome at the Quilting Bee.?
