About
The Arthur Walton (A.W.) Ange House was built in 1901, and is one of the best surviving examples of Victorian style architecture in Winterville. The two-story frame house follows a traditional L-shaped plan with rooms asymmetrically distributed along a wide central hall. The A.W. Ange House contains nearly 1000 artifacts pertaining to the history of the community. The public can view the house and artifacts by appointment, or during special events sponsored by the Winterville Historical & Arts Society.
