The North Carolina Furniture School

NCFS is North Carolina’s home for classes in furniture making, woodturning, and DIY woodworking classes for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. We offer 1 day Classes, 2 day Workshops, 3 day Master Classes, 1 week Woodworking Intensives, and an annual NCFS Foreign Study Immersion. We are also proud to be the only woodworking school in the country offering a full range of equipment, hardwood, plywoods, and cabinetmaking supplies for sale at discounts to our students. In addition to our outstanding classes we are home to the NCFS Woodturners Club. They meet the first Saturday of each month at NCFS from 9 – 12:00. The NCFS Woodturners Club attracts people from the Piedmont to the coast for in-house demonstrations, special classes, woodturning workshops, guest demonstrators, field trips, and more. Each meeting begins with an ‘Instant Gallery’ where members bring in their recent projects to share for group critique and discussion.
