Parks and Gardens

Greenville-Pitt County is home to many beautiful parks and gardens! The City of Greenville Recreation & Parks Department maintains over 25 public parks, many featuring playground equipment, pools, splash pads, picnic areas, sports facilities, and more for families to enjoy. 

The Trillium Inclusive Playground at the Greenville Town Common is designed for children of all ages and abilities to be able to enjoy climbing, sliding, ziplining, swinging, and more! There is even fitness equipment for the adults to enjoy while they watch their kids at play. The Greenville Dog Park located right off the Greenville Greenway and Tar River is the perfect spot to take your pup to run off their zoomies and make new friends!

The 7 acre Pitt County Arboretum is a public garden full of various plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables, herbs, evergreens, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and more that you can enjoy and learn how to replicate in your own home garden!

Alice F. Keene District Park Complex offers playgrounds, sports fields and facilities, and miles of walking trails adjacent to the Senior Center and Community Garden.
