With five years of coffee expertise under her belt and a penchant for whimsical crafting, she infuses every aspect of Backstage Coffee with her innovative spirit, boundless imagination, and love of music. Her wife Anna Park, is the glue that holds it all together, the go-to for sorting out and fixing any snags that come their way, and is an amazing singer-songwriter. With their shared love of coffee and music, Backstage hosts monthly rotating themed menus and special events to pay homage to music icons like Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks, and to coincide with new album drops from Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Harry Styles, and most recently Noah Kahan- which grabbed the attention of NC Tripping who shared their menu on her socials and made a special trip to Backstage Coffee for a Noah Kahan-themed coffee and shared them both on her social platforms. Their wildly popular annual Gilmore Girls and FRIENDS themed weekends in the fall go viral on social media and have people lined down the block for hours pulling people from across the state and beyond to Greenville for their special brew of whimsy, nostalgia, and pop-culture. Mack and Anna are also big supporters and incubators of other local small businesses, such as Cook’s Closet vintage store that was located upstairs before opening their own store in Downtown, and Moosie’s Catering Company currently located at the Backstage location.
