Juneteenth Celebrations
Greenville will celebrate Juneteenth with several community events taking place at the Greenville Town Common. The community is invited to these free events to help honor the meaning and history of Juneteenth through public art, music, history, education, and fellowship.
Juneteenth 2026
Come together to celebrate and honor the history of Juneteenth on Saturday, June 20st from 10am - 2pm at Thomas Foreman Park located at 400 Nash Street! Groove to live music from Seven Until Sunrise, discover tasty eats at food trucks, shop the Black-owned vendor fair, and kids activities!
As part of the City of Greenville's Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20th, Visit Greenville, NC will be offering free guided Greenville-Pitt County African American Cultural Trail Tours at 10:00am and 12:00pm on the Emerald Express Trolley. The tours, which will start at the corner of Ward and Nash Streets adjacent to the Eppes Recreational Center, consist of seven stops that showcase the many contributions that the African American community has made to the growth of Greenville and Pitt County. Tours are limited to 20 passengers per tour time.
