Juneteenth Celebrations
Greenville will celebrate Juneteenth with several community events taking place at the Greenville Town Common. The community is invited to these free events to help honor the meaning and history of Juneteenth through public art, music, history, education, and fellowship.
Juneteenth 2025
Come together to celebrate and honor the history of Juneteenth on Saturday, June 21st from 5pm-9pm at the Greenville Town Common! Groove to live music at the Greenville Toyota Amphitheater, discover tasty eats at food trucks, shop the Black-owned vendor fair, play on the bounce houses, and kick back to watch the dazzling fireworks display after sunset!
Free guided tours of the Greenville-Pitt County African American Cultural Trail on the Emerald Express Trolley through Downtown Greenville will take place at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm prior to the start of the event. Pick up location will be at the Sycamore Hill Gateway Plaza at the Greenville Town Common at the intersection of First and Greene Streets.
