THE PITT-GREENVILLE CONVENTION & VISITORS AUTHORITY WAS FOUNDED IN 1987 WITH THE DUTY:
To oversee the spending of the occupancy tax revenue; to advise and assist in the promotion of activities and programs aiding and encouraging travel, tourism, and conventions. The CVA Board meets on a regular basis to monitor the progress of strategic goals set by the members. The public is invited to attend any and all CVA Board meetings.
