The Greenville-Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau (Visit Greenville, NC) announces the opening of two positions on their Sales & Services team to continue to provide excellent guest service to our meetings and sporting events.
“As demand continues to grow across our meetings, conventions, and sports markets, especially with the momentum surrounding our sports complex coming online, we are proud to expand our Sales & Services team to meet that opportunity,” stated Rachel Whitten, Vice President of Sales & Services. “Adding additional staff will strengthen our ability to recruit new events while delivering exceptional service on the ground. Alongside this growth, we have enhanced our complimentary service offerings to provide even greater value to groups choosing to host their events in Greenville-Pitt County.”
Meetings and Conventions Sales & Services Specialist- This position supports meetings and conventions sales efforts and assists with the planning and execution of events hosted in Greenville and Pitt County, by contributing to event recruitment efforts, with a primary focus on servicing groups, while playing a key role in client support and coordination with local stakeholders and partners, including the Greenville Convention Center, hotel and motel partners, East Carolina University, Pitt Community College, and local restaurants and businesses, to help ensure successful event delivery and positive experiences for event organizers and attendees.
Sports Sales & Services Specialist- This position supports sports sales efforts and assists with the planning and execution of sporting events hosted in Greenville and Pitt County, by contributing to sports event recruitment efforts, while playing a key role in event servicing, client support, and coordination with local stakeholders and partners, including the City of Greenville, NC Recreation & Parks Department, Pitt County Cultural Arts & Recreation, ECU Athletics, the Greenville Convention Center, and other local partners to help ensure successful event delivery and positive experiences for sports event organizers and participants.
