Calling All Comic Fans to Greenville Comic Con 2022

Comic and pop-culture lovers will flock to Greenville for the 6th Annual Greenville North Carolina Comic Con Saturday, August 13 from 10am - 5pm at the Greenville Convention Center to enjoy comics, artists, cosplay, collectibles, a costume contest, a chance to see favorite characters, and more!

Attendees can meet and discuss their favorite comics with comic writers and artists, shop for rare comics and collectibles from over 100 vendors, and compete for trophies and cash for the best costumes in kids, teen, and adult categories. During the show, Blue Ox Games will be running gaming areas including Dungeon & Dragons and Smash Bros. Ultimate. Attendees can also participate in a paint and take table, meet the cast of the Stro’s Sinister Sinema, and enjoy photo-ops with The Camp Killer, Mandelorian Mercs, and Star Wars 501^st.

Greenville NC Comic Con 2022 Schedule of Events:

10am: Doors Open
11am - 2pm: Costume Contest & Judging by Be Your Own Hero Productions
11am -12pm: Panel on Japanese Culture Context in Anime
12pm - 1pm: Q&A with Karen Whitfield the Bronze Age Batgirl who wrote a book called “Batdriven West” about the time she spent traveling with Burt Ward and Adam West.
1pm - 2pm: Panel: Yeah, I’m from Japan Q&A with Oki Nowaki. Raised in Okinawa, Japan, they moved here to NC in 2019! Since then they have been spreading knowledge about Japan and raising awareness to Asian issues in America on their Tik Tok. This panel will be open forum, please come with any questions you may have about Japan. Whether it be nerd culture or about the food! *Please keep questions family friendly and education oriented!*
2:30pm: Group Cosplay Photo
3 - 4pm: Costume Showcase, Final Judging and Prizes Awarded
5pm: Close
