We have yet another iconic Pitt-County festival to add to your spring calendar! The 2025 Farmville Dogwood Festival is not one to miss and has been bringing the Farmville Town Commons to life for the past 36 years.
Head to our local town filled with classic southern charm from Thursday, April 24 through Sunday, April 27th, and find the town’s manicured lawns bursting with colors from the stately oaks, azaleas, and dogwoods in full bloom. This multi-day festival is known for the gorgeous spring blooms and the expansive schedule of events, including live music, fair rides, local entertainment, and much more- every day of this festival brings something new!
This year's festival features a jam-packed schedule of events with activities for all ages. There will be live music, a wide variety of food vendors serving up everything from funnel cakes to BBQ, BMX demonstrations, and rides that will thrill even the bravest adrenaline junkies. Thursday and Sunday are one-price ride nights, featuring a $25 wristband that gets you unlimited rides all night, and there’s a $5 discount if you purchase it in advance at the town office.
On Friday night, watch The Lorax under the stars from right inside Horne Avenue Athletic Field. On Saturday, head over to Dogwood Bash at 5:30pm, featuring headliner Tyler Farr!
But the real highlight of the festival is the stunning dogwood trees that will be in full bloom. Visitors can take a break from the festival sights and enjoy a walk through Downtown Farmville to take in the beauty of the dogwood trees and visit local shops and restaurants. This fantastic festival is a keystone event in Pitt County culture.
