Greenville Country Club is located just minutes from the Convention District. Originally a 9-hole course, it transitioned to an 18-hole facility in 1994. The tree-lined course offers a challenge for all skill levels and has hosted events such as the Carolina Golf Association State Championships and the ECU Lady Pirates Fall Golf Tournament. Off the green, find tennis courts, a pool with a snack bar, and a full-service pro-shop.

This 365-acre park is the perfect place to fish, run, mountain bike, or practice your BMX skills. With miles of walking and mountain biking trails, kayak access to the tar, and a pump track, this is every adventure junkie's dream!
Stretching over 9 miles, the Greenville Greenway is one of the most beautiful places to stretch your legs in Pitt County. The trail winds along the Tar River, passing through several parks, and connects the community in the heart of Greenville.
Visit Elm Street Park at any time of year for a fun afternoon. The park features multiple free tennis and pickleball courts, 2 playgrounds, and a baseball field that is home to the Little League Softball World Series every summer and connected to the Greenville Greenway. Get your heart rate up just minutes from Downtown Greenville.
River Park North
One of the biggest parks in Pitt County, River Park North spans 324 acres along the Tar River. Find miles of walking trails, plenty of fishing spots, and even a Science and Nature center featuring an auditorium, live turtles and snakes, and several interactive exhibits to enjoy. River Park North is also along the NC Birding Trail, offering one of the best opportunities in the state to see birds such as Great Blue Herons, prothonotary warblers, and waterfowl.
